When & where are your meetings?
Troop 189 meets every Tuesday night from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Encino.
How much does it cost to join?
Troop 189 fees are $160 per Scout. This does not include BSA registration.
How does it work having both girls & boys in the same Troop?
Girls and boys in Troop 189 are split up into separate patrols, but still participate in many activities together as a troop!
Are Parents required to be leaders?
Parents are not required to be leaders, however we are only as strong as our Leadership Team, meaning the more help the better. Parents are encouraged to attend all Troop Committee meetings in hopes to improve the troop and help create the best environment for our scouts.
Does Troop 189 Participate In Fundraising?
Yes! We participate in a variety of activities to help offset your cost of participation.
How often do you have activities?
Typically we go camping or have an activity of some kind scheduled for the first weekend of every month. We plan events for the first weekend of every month so parents have the ability to schedule other events according to their child's scouting experiences!
